Automotive System Marketing Director – Vehicle Electric Architecture
NXP Automotive Systems Engineering & Marketing (ASEM) organization is responsible for deploying go to market System strategies & solutions to increase our market share in cross-collaboration with the required Product Lines, NXP Sales teams and System teams.
Responsibilities:
The Automotive System Marketing Director plays a leading role in the Automotive System Engineering and Marketing (ASEM) team, working closely with multiple product lines and global sales teams to help create most successful system marketing strategies to win at Automotive customers (OEM and Tier1) vehicle level architecture with a major influence on compute, real-time control, networking, energy management and software architecture.
- Develop business potential for system solutions and a clear value proposition on system level
- Create business metrics from those system level solutions towards a selective available market for NXP
- Engage with lead customers to promote and validate our system solution proposals
- Generate design wins based on innovative and holistic system approaches. Quantify and keep track of system solution financial KPIs
- Nurture dedicated OEM customer relations at vehicle architecture level and influence their choices
- Work closely with the software defined vehicle team to align vehicle architectures vs. respective software architectures
- Lead peers towards a hole system level mindset thinking
- Build a go to market strategy and execute it together with the involved product lines
- Create collateral to communicate and train marketing & sales teams on your mission
- Be the evangelist of the system solutions at conferences, interviews our other media
Your profile:
- Experience at OEM or Tier1 in the automotive market for more than 10 years
- Reference in make vs buy decisions at OEM/Tier1 for ECU sourcings on technical and commercial level
- Deep understanding in vehicle level architecture trade offs
- Expertise in financial metrics around vehicle architecture and selected components in those architectures/board nets
- Large network in the automotive community
- Cooperative mindset, reaching out and influencing outside line reporting
- Excellent communication skills in English - internally and with external parties
- Capable to manage multiple tasks, and anticipate and plan around obstacles
Job location:
- 40% travel
- Munich/Hamburg/Dresden, Germany
