QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience:

  • 1-3 years Revenue Cycle Experience.
  • Ability to think critically and independently.
  • Must be solution-driven and proactive in adhering to deadlines.
  • General knowledge of insurance billing processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Collect mail from Baylor College of Medicine post office for internal distribution.
  • Review all correspondence received and route accordingly, including external clients.
  • Upload correspondence from payers to be worked by RCM Collections team.
  • Understand high priority correspondence and escalate to leadership.
  • Upload documents to credentialing software.
  • Scan documents relevant to RCM team to be worked through RCM software.
  • Sort and distribute RCM correspondence accurately and timely.
  • Effectively collaborate cross functionally and with Baylor partners, achieve established KPI’s and timelines, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality, adhering to all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow through, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:


• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.• Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
