QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years Revenue Cycle Experience.
- Ability to think critically and independently.
- Must be solution-driven and proactive in adhering to deadlines.
- General knowledge of insurance billing processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect mail from Baylor College of Medicine post office for internal distribution.
- Review all correspondence received and route accordingly, including external clients.
- Upload correspondence from payers to be worked by RCM Collections team.
- Understand high priority correspondence and escalate to leadership.
- Upload documents to credentialing software.
- Scan documents relevant to RCM team to be worked through RCM software.
- Sort and distribute RCM correspondence accurately and timely.
- Effectively collaborate cross functionally and with Baylor partners, achieve established KPI’s and timelines, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality, adhering to all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, follow through, and troubleshooting skills.
- Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.• Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
