About the role:


The Director of Marketing Operations is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of our marketing automation and CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, Ringlead, GA4, 6Sense, Drift, Reachdesk, Bizible, Tableau, and new tools as needed for the business. The ideal candidate has a strong background in designing and optimizing effective reporting frameworks, including data visualization and analysis. They have strong experience in best-of-class marketing operations processes, including designing, developing, deploying and optimizing marketing programs for lifecycle management.

They understand Account-Based strategic motions to support enterprise-level GTM approach and have experience designing reporting frameworks aligned to these marketing strategies and initiatives. In addition, they have proven experience in developing, deploying and optimizing marketing programs that support a strategic account-centric approach. 

Technology Responsibilities: 



  • Primary Marketing owner of Salesforce. Responsibilities include building out, optimizing and maintaining all marketing reports and dashboards to report on marketing sourced/influenced pipeline, campaign performance and program ROI. Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to align marketing processes to overall revenue team processes. Primary owner of SFDC campaign object, provide analysis and recommendations from all marketing reports and dashboards. Create campaign performance reports for campaign and digital demand leaders to give insights for program optimizations. 

  • Act as primary owner of all lead routing and all lead-to-account matching processes in Ringlead. 

  • Work with the Socure BI team to build out, optimize and maintain marketing performance reports in Tableau, capable of hands-on work in Tableau with collaboration and support from the Socure BI team.

  • Act as primary owner of Marketo platform and building, optimizing integrations and workflows with the marketing tech stack. Lead one Marketo analyst resource (employee based in India) and collaborate withMarketo (champion-level) contractor (part-time resource based in India).

  • Bring deep understanding of marketing attribution models and strategies for ABM-centric GTM motions. Work with the primary Bizible owner to guide strategy and optimization within Bizible. 

  • Support SDR Leader with data hygiene and operational integrations of Outreach to the rest of the martech stack. 

  • Collaborate with the Digital Demand team and SEO / SEM agency to ensure that all needed bi-directional activity is flowing properly to Marketo, SFDC, GA4, and 6Sense.

  • Work with 6sense primary owner to ensure all operational flows and tech stack integrations are properly built, maintained and optimized.

Operational Execution Responsibilities: 



  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of Salesforce, Marketo and Bizible.

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of marketing data across platforms. 

  • Manage the integration and synchronization of data between systems to support seamless marketing workflows. 

  • Marketing Automation and Lifecycle Management: Design, develop, and deploy marketing programs for lifecycle management. 

  • Implement automated marketing campaigns to nurture leads and enhance customer engagement. 

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of marketing automation processes.

Data Strategy, Visualization and Analysis Responsibilities: 



  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize marketing objectives and initiatives. 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Analyze marketing data to generate insights and actionable recommendations. 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing automation and CRM. 

  • Implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance marketing operations. 

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:



  • 10 years of proven experience in a marketing operations leadership role with a technical focus.

  • 3 years experience leading and mentoring a team of marketing professionals across the tech stack.

  • Proficient in Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, Ringlead, and Bizible required. Experience with Outreach, 6sense, GA4, Reachdesk and Drift preferred. 

  • Recent certifications in marketing operations tools, especially Marketo and Salesforce are highly desirable for this role.

  • Demonstrated data manipulation, hygiene and optimization skills.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to mentor a team of marketing professionals and promote an environment of continuous learning.
