Senior Manager Consultants:


Manage scope, risks and issues, and client escalations, responding quickly to client concerns, and communicate with company executives as appropriate. Effectively facilitate client and internal team meetings. Coach and manage team members.

What you will be doing:



  • This role is responsible for the design and delivery of Workiva's Data Management Suite comprised of Wdata Tables/Queries/Views, Chains, Data Prep, Python scripting, and source system integration

  • Evaluate and understand the client's requirements to develop the optimal use of the Data Management Solution to provide timely and scalable solutions that support the client's reporting processes in the Workiva platform

  • Lead multiple data management teams in the execution of the designed integration solution to meet the client's reporting needs in the Workiva platform

  • Configure and test data integration workflows from on-prem and cloud based systems of record to Workiva

  • Develop queries and mapping groups to transform data according to functional and technical requirements

  • Create and carry out integration test procedures

  • Train and enable designated client designated application owners to ensure client self sufficiency

  • Collaborate with other consultants to develop or enhance data management assets to improve efficiency in delivering solutions

  • Ensure best practices are applied when consistently across client deployments

Who we are looking for:



  • Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science

  • 5 -8 years of experience with data warehouse, business intelligence, and performance management application integrations using cloud-based technologies

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and developing high-capacity ETL/ELT pipelines.

  • 5 - 8 years of experience building cloud integrations with upstream and downstream systems using REST APIs

  • 3+ years of experience with the Workiva platform, and Data Management

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science

  • 5 -8 years of experience with data warehouse, business intelligence, and performance management application integrations using cloud-based technologies

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and developing high-capacity ETL/ELT pipelines.

  • 5 - 8 years of experience building cloud integrations with upstream and downstream systems using REST APIs

  • 3+ years of experience with the Workiva platform, and Data Management

  • This role requires travel to client sites as needed

To be a good fit, you will have:



  • Data warehouse experience with expertise in data development, integration, ETL processes, CDC tools, and SQL proficiency

  • Ability to create, review, and troubleshoot queries using SQL

  • Various data structures and schemas from a variety of ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A or Analytics and Reporting solutions are extensively understood, including arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, and hash tables. Additionally, modeling techniques like entity-relationship modeling and dimensional modeling are well-known.

  • Intermediate Python application development skills with a strong knowledge of syntax, data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.

  • Experience with popular Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, NumPy, Pandas).

  • Prior experience with integration technology such as Informatica, Boomi, or Workato preferred

  • Strong understanding of API design philosophy/patterns, communication protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) and encoding

Added bonus if you have:



  • Python Intermediate PCAP Certification

  • Workiva - Certified in Delivering the Data Management Solution

  • Workiva - Certified in Delivering the Financial Reporting Solution
