ForeFlight is looking for an outstanding UX Researcher to join our Product Design team. This position is for a motivated individual well-versed in mobile application research and design, who has a background in or passion for aviation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Act as the user advocate on a multi-disciplinary team
- Work with Product Designers and Product Managers to create effective test plans, prototypes, and desired outcomes for testing
- Schedule and coordinate users for testing sessions
- Conduct research activities throughout a project lifecycle - from exploratory research and interviewing to usability testing the final implementation
- Distill research insights and findings and make recommendations for further iteration and testing
- Help develop and maintain research libraries including personas, test findings, etc. that can be shared across the company
We're looking for someone with experience with:
- A wide variety of UX Research methods including structured, unstructured, and hybrid interviewing, moderated and unmoderated task/scenario-based usability testing, card sorting, tree testing, A/B testing, etc.
- Conducting larger-scale quantitative studies such as surveys and questionnaires
- Recruiting, scheduling, and coordinating users for testing
- Data analysis of research findings, distillation, and story-telling with stakeholders
- Facilitating scope discussions with stakeholders based on research findings
Bonus points if you also have experience with:
- Showing initiative and self-starting
- Working on a multi-disciplinary and/or Agile team
- Analytics
- Design tools such as Figma & Miro
- Aviation or another data-heavy industry
