Title: Lead Software Developers
Employer: VIAC Services Company (Venerable)Location: West Chester, PAJob Description: Lead a multidisciplinary Agile team in creating and maintaining mission-critical systems. Provide prioritization, mentoring, and guidance to the team. Ensure backlog priorities are continually updated to align with product roadmap. Ensure backlog item definitions and associated acceptance criteria are appropriately captured, updated, and visible to relevant audiences. Ensure technical approaches align with architectural blueprints and approved firm practices.
Collaborate with business and technical partners to define new features and system capabilities. Coordinate with stakeholders to define and schedule product releases and feature deliveries. Lead regular design reviews, code reviews, and practice reviews. Lead documentation of team patterns, standards, technical approaches. Drive adoption of appropriate SCM, CI, CD, automated testing, and other DevSecOps practices. Oversee ongoing DevSecOps activities. Liaise with internal product teams, functional teams, and SRE teams to coordinate work. Coordinate team L2+ support for team products and systems.
Define, design, implement, validate, and support solution elements. Assist with operational and practice improvements. Assist with product roadmap and product blueprint management. Coordinate with offshore resources and governance over the deliverables.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT, or closely related field and minimum 3 years of [or a bachelor’s degree as stated above and minimum 5 years of] experience in any occupation of technology architect, technology lead, or related. Experience must include: application design, architecture, software development and system operation; AWS Cognito, Okta IDP, OIDC-PKCE; micro-services and serverless architecture; AWS lambda, FaaS, BaaS, Containerization, Docker EE, and CaaS concepts; hosting applications on AWS cloud solutions leveraging cloud first approach with AWS EKS, AWS SQS, and API Gateway; analysis of technical implementation approaches, limitations, suggestions, and feedback; defining coding guidelines and performing code reviews; analyzing performance parameters and scalability; CI/CD including Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory; Angular, BootStrap, SQL Server and Sybase; and Java/J2EE, AOP, REST based web services, and Type Script.#LI-DNI
