Beacon Solutions Group is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager. This person will p
rovide billing services and general revenue cycle services to health care clients including professional, hospital, D&TC, OPWDD, OASAS, nursing home, home health, legal and third party payers. Work will be performed at home, client locations and regional office.
Responsibilities
Provide revenue cycle support to Beacon clients, team members and firm employees
Complete duties associated with being an outsourced billing service provider including charge entry, payment posting, claims submission and follow up, coding and auditing
Oversee cash recovery projects. Includes staff supervision, project productivity monitoring and monthly reporting
Conduct diagnostic reviews of revenue cycles to determine opportunities for best practice performance. Prepare written reports
Conduct revenue cycle, billing, and coding training sessions for Beacon clients and team members
Identify opportunities to improve services to individual clients and develop suggestions for adjustment of services as appropriate
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Billing experience in either physician, hospital or nursing home environment is required. Solid understanding of revenue cycle processes. 5+ years billing experience. 1+ years supervisory experience. Must be a self-starter who can work independently.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with ePACES and FISS DDE. 10+ years billing experience.
Educational Requirements:
AS Degree preferred. Billing certification desired.
Travel Requirements:
Must be willing to travel within New York. Daily travel up to 50% but varies greatly. Overnight travel occasionally required. Reliable transportation is a must.
The salary range for this position is between $58,000 to $70,000 and is commensurate with experience.
Hours of Operation:
Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
