The Automotive Ethernet Segment (AES) is part of the Product Line (PL) In-Vehicle Networking (IVN), and is one of the fastest growing product segments within NXP. We are seeking a senior marketing manager to develop the SW product strategy to support revenue growth for our Automotive Ethernet Switch and PHY product portfolio. This leader is ultimately accountable to achieve the goals set during the yearly strategy process. She/He will own the business cases supporting new SW product introductions per the roadmap, as well as drive Go-to-Market strategies and design-wins associated with the current SW offering. Supporting day to day operations as well as strategic initiatives requiring strong collaboration and stakeholder alignment across the organization is another crucial part of this job.
Your team
The marketing team within the Automotive Ethernet Solutions group is managing all aspects of the product portfolio, and offers product expertise and marketing support to the worldwide sales and field application teams. The members of the team interact with customers worldwide to understand Ethernet networking requirements derived from current and future E/E architectures and to explain the benefits of NXPs system solutions. Together with our Applications and Systems Engineering team we’re forming the Voice of the customer towards our R&D organization.
Our team is recognized within the automotive market as networking experts and belongs to the cross-industry community that innovates and introduces novelties in in-vehicle networking. The position is available at our location in Munich, alternative locations might be considered.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive Software product roadmaps that result in a differentiated, selling product portfolio.
- Define and execute successful, impactful go-to-market strategies for SW tools, drivers and application SW
- Be the “voice-of-the-customer” for the R&D organization.
- Maintain an up-to-date view on competition, market size (TAM/SAM), industry trends, standardization.
- Trigger business development initiatives resulting in above-average growth and design-wins.
- Establish and manage key stakeholder relationships to customers, NXP sales and project members.
- Manage all aspects of the existing and future SW product portfolio.
Your Profile
- MSc in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- 5 years of experience in marketing of Embedded SW products, ideally gained in marketing Ethernet products (PHY and Switch), or Microcontrollers.
- Ideally technical background in Automotive embedded SW and SW development tools, as well as all aspects of SW licensing
- Proven track record in defining successful product roadmap and product marketing strategies.
- Commercially savvy, able to negotiate with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Convincing influencer, able to operate independently.
- Balances strategic vision with strong execution, can get things done.
- Willing to travel to customers and NXP locations worldwide.
