About Our Opportunity


As an Account Executive at Vālenz, you will champion our brand, acting as the primary contact to nurture, strengthen and grow relationships within our existing clientele. You'll spearhead client satisfaction across all business sectors and work seamlessly with internal teams to fine-tune client workflows, consistently going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.

Things You’ll Do Here


:


  • Maintains, nurtures, and grows existing customer relationships.
  • Conducts pre/post sale presentations and schedules regular client meetings.
  • Drives revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic account planning.
  • Tracks and manages sales opportunities in CRM.
  • Leads client proposal processes, renewals, and account implementations.
  • Develops and implements Strategic Account Plans for assigned book of business.
  • Acts as the primary liaison for client communications and ensures satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates expertise in all Vālenz products and services.
  • Collaborates with internal teams for client issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Upholds compliance with company policies, procedures, and HIPAA standards.
  • Partners with Operations, SMEs, and other internal teams to align with client requirements and enhance relationships.

What You’ll Bring to the Team


:


  • 5+ years' experience in managing both internal and external relationships; knowledge of healthcare plan administration.
  • Experience in healthcare plans, health insurance, or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities in-person and virtually.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in advanced Excel functions and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts, work under pressure, and consistently deliver exemplary customer service.

A plus if you have:

  • Experience with Taft Hartley plans
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration
  • Self-funded healthcare experience

This role is remote. We are seeking an individual located in the Chicago metro as we have a concentration of clients in the area.
