About the Opportunity ✍️
This person will be working in both the Transaction Monitoring and Screening teams as an operational team member to review and resolve financial crimes alerts on a day-to-day basis. In addition, the role will be responsible to escalate suspicious activity, when appropriate, for suspicious activity reporting in the required jurisdiction. This person will engage with all teams in MoonPay’s Financial Intelligence Unit and Compliance Teams, and will be able to progress their career within MoonPay using those skill sets and knowledge acquired.What you will do…
Review Transaction Monitoring and Screening alerts for financial crimes risk (hybrid split as needed)
Internal and External escalations that present a financial crimes risk
Performing Case Investigations
Draft Suspicious Activity Reports for filing by the relevant Money Laundering Reporting Officer
About You 🙋
We are looking for a proactive, positive person to join our FIU team. That person needs to be comfortable working in a startup environment (prior experience at a startup positively viewed), who is solution orientated, who has an ability to demonstrate a practical approach to alert processing and analysis, who has a genuine interest in Crypto, and who can provide constructive feedback aimed to improve processes, flows and procedures. Most importantly, though, you will embody the core principles that everyone here at the MoonPay lives by.

Previous working experience in Financial Crime/Compliance analytical / investigations role(s), for at least a 2 years, preferably in TM/FIU and/or Screening
ACAMS / ACFCS or ICA accreditation
Wallet screening experience (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, CipherTrace, Scorechain)
Attention to detail

A fluency in English
