Production Copy Coordinator | Production Team


Paradigm Press is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for the role of Marketing Copy and Legal Coordinator. This position is responsible for facilitating the necessary review and compliance steps for marketing and promotional copy at Paradigm Press.The responsibilities associated with this role include: Working with our internal team to oversee and facilitate the copy submission process; Managing and mediating the communication during the review process between our internal copywriting team and our legal review team; and   finalizing copy pieces, cleaning up documents and communicating/delivering assets among different departments for the copy’s next steps in the production and marketing process.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):


  • Coordinate the review of marketing promos through our internal  review, legal editing, and copy editing process, and effectively communicate project status among our departments..
  • Assist in adhering to best practices for submitting copy and promos to ensure a clean and speedy review process.
  • Creating and communicating promotional package overviews to the production team and other internal departments.
  • Ensure copy is presented to the Production Team Lead in the cleanest manner possible given the timeline of the project – following naming conventions; cleaning up the final copy and removing information not related to updates, re-leads, design elements, graphics, or functionality; and proofreading for basic, glaring errors within the timeline of the project.
  • Coordinate with the copywriter and marketing team, to ensure all associated marketing copy is ready upon project completion.
  • Research copywriting and legal techniques to strengthen copy while ensuring an adequate legal foundation and provide increasingly useful suggestions to both copywriters and legal editors.
  • Become knowledgeable regarding existing editor backup; maintain legal archives and a knowledge of their contents, to help facilitate faster legal review and assist copywriters in locating back up for their claims.
  • Highly organized and motivated, and strong communication skills are  a must.
  • Knowledge of Basecamp, Monday and Docusign is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Promotional copy is a plus.
