Job Summary
Here at Prosites, the Junior Data Engineer & Analyst (JDEA) works closely with the Data Engineer & Analyst (DEA) and Revenue Operations leadership to drive success through the usage of data. Specifically, this role drives the attainment, cleansing, storage, and access of/to data for the entire Revenue organization; this includes the Marketing, Sales, Onboarding, and Retention teams. The data will then be used in conjunction with standard analytics processes, as well as ML/AI where appropriate, to identify client buying patterns, demographics (ICP), and opportunities for organizational growth.
Finally, this data will be used for ongoing and ad-hoc reporting and visualization of data for stakeholder enablement.
This is an entry-level position that involves high levels of continued learning to drive tactical execution for growth within the Revenue organization

The ideal candidate has an exposure to creating, enriching, and managing databases with some experience in sourcing missing information when necessary. They also have exposure to programming and automation, specifically Python or similar cloud-based languages. Experience with using Machine Learning and/or AI for predictive analytics is fundamental to growth and success within this position. Similarly, while an intermediate level of skill is required with Excel, they should also have exposure to/knowledge of other database structures including Azure, SQL, or similar examples.
Familiarity with CRM systems is beneficial but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn Prosites product suite, industries served, and the complexities involved with the context that drives those relationships.
- Partner with IT and Revenue Operations leadership to create sustainable, actionable solutions (productization) that utilize Machine Learning and/or AI to drive organizational results
- Conduct data acquisition exercises from primary and secondary sources.
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain cloud databases with the Data Engineering team
- Proactively analyze data through both long-term and ad-hoc reporting solutions to identify trends and impact on business objectives.
- Create automated reporting for stakeholder guided analysis of team performance.
Qualifications (Required):
- Computer Science or Applied Machine Learning Bachelor’s degree required, although consideration will also be given to AI/ML emphasized Data Analytics degrees.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills are required to be successful in this position.
- Experience/exposure to Power Query or similar ETL process/tool equivalent to 1 year (1-2 courses or internship experience is acceptable.)
- Experience/exposure with Python development/coding equivalent to 1 year (1-2 courses or internship experience is acceptable.)
- Experience/exposure creating and manipulating SQL tables equivalent to 1 year (1-2 courses or internship experience is acceptable.)
- Experience/exposure creating data warehouses within Microsoft Azure equivalent to 1 year (1-2 courses or internship experience is acceptable.)
- Experience/exposure with data evaluation, analysis, extrapolation, and data visualization.
- Ability to communicate and present progress and findings appropriately to different types of stakeholders.
Qualifications (Desired):
- Understanding of VBA to convert existing automation to non-Excel-based methodology.
- Experience with data validation rules and automated auditing/reporting of results.
- Experience/exposure to data scraping/mining
- Experience/exposure to Salesforce, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable CRM
Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:
