Summary of Position:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist with WaterBridge Operating will be responsible for all accounts receivables related to its reclamation and landfill operations in Texas and will assist with its saltwater disposal and source water sales operations for basins in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, as needed. The Specialist will report to the Billing Supervisor and be responsible for maintaining and creating billing invoices, ensuring timely collections, and providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills are essential for this position, as operations are based in very remote areas.
Attention to detail is imperative. The Specialist should be self-motivated and have the ability to read and understand contracts to ensure billings are prepared accordingly.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The following represents most of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Creating billing invoices per customer contract specifications.
- Submitting billing invoices to customers via email and various systems/portals.
- Collecting and reviewing support documents from the field to be used to generate invoices.
- Monitoring A/R Aging and follow-up on past due invoices as needed.
- Taking operational action to resolve and explain any customer account discrepancies.
- Contributing to team tasks by preparing ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Performing other accounting/administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintaining alignment with internal controls and process standards.
- Driving process improvement related to recurring duties and ad hoc projects on a continuous basis.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (Associates or college degree preferred).
- 5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable is highly preferred.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Have strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Workday is highly preferred.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Be able to work with and maintain confidential information.

- Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position.
- Monday – Thursday (9 hours) & Friday (4 hours), flexibility on working remote may be available from time-to-time.
