Cognicion LLC, a boutique eDiscovery services and information management provider is actively recruiting a talented professional to assist and support both internal and external case teams through the efficient use of litigation support tools and applications. Selected candidate will provide technical support in database loading, image management, database design and production for a suite of litigation/practice system tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assists internal team and case team users in determining the optimum configuration for data intake and processing of different data types.Coordinates and executes incoming data processing including data chain of custody tracking, data extraction and processing, loading data to the hosting platform, and all data validations/quality control required throughout the process.Assists with the preparation of data productions including load file creation and quality control.Provides custom database queries and reports to case and project teams.Provides review coding layout set-ups, user access and other project team database requests.Demonstrates organizational skills and effective use of time (ability to plan daily work, set priorities and manage time to ensure work is timely and efficiently completed).Demonstrates flexibility (willing to adjust to changes in job requirements and scheduling).Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1 year experience in the technology, process, and production of documents for Litigation/Discovery.
- Problem Solving: an ability to solve practical problems where only limited standardization and/or specific direction exists.
- Communication: ability to effectively present and communicate information to management, employees, clients and other outside parties.
- Strong client services skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project Management: Ability to work on simultaneous multiple projects both as a member of a team and independently.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Intermediate to expert working knowledge in Microsoft Office Products.
- Expert proficiency in litigation management software such as Relativity, or other software.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
