What to expect on this role
Lead automated testing solutions, frameworks, and tools for software validation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and develop test plans.
Execute test scripts, cases, and scenarios using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Identify and prioritize areas for test automation, maximizing coverage and efficiency.
Conduct code reviews and guide junior QA team members for high-quality deliverables.
Monitor and analyze test results, collaborating with development teams for issue resolution.
Implement and maintain test data management and environment setups for automation.
Contribute to Agile development processes, including planning and daily stand-up meetings.
Keep on with test automation trends, providing recommendations for process improvement.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience (at least 6 years) in the field as manual and automation QA
Proficiency in API (Restassured), HTTP, and relational databases such as MS SQL or PostgreSQL is essential.
Experience in test planning, test design, test script development, and test execution.
Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber.
Solid programming skills in languages such as Java or C#, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable automation scripts.
Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Teamcity or similar CI/CD.
Demonstrated expertise in agile testing methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive them to resolution.
