ACERTUS is an automotive logistics company that offers portfolio of services that span across the vehicle lifecycle. As a Staff Accountant, you will perform all account research, reconciliations, and journal entries for car haul accounting processes. Participates in month-end closing and updates the balance sheet package. This is an entry level position and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their accounting career.
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: $50 - $55K/year. Based on Experience
What you will be doing:
- Match ACH entries, checks, and credit card transactions to reconcile bank transactions.
- Provide support and research in the month-end closing process.
- Create and upload journal entries and accruals.
- Maintaining reconciliation schedules for general ledger accounts and making adjusting entries as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or similar field
- One to three years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel, and other general office equipment.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP).
- Ability to proactively research and resolve problems.
- Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Personal responsibility to manage change.
