What to expect in this role
As our Operations Lead, you will be a pivotal part of our Operations team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Operations and based in our Wynwood (Miami) office. This role offers a unique opportunity to touch many facets of our global operations, from HR and IT to compliance, office management, and vendor/contractor management. This position is ideal for an ambitious, sharp, and proactive individual eager to cut their teeth on comprehensive business operations and contribute to foundational work that impacts our global operations.
Design and implement effective business processes to enhance efficiency and compliance across various internal departments, including: HR, IT, and Office Operations
Analyze operational challenges and gaps, propose and implement solutions that drive continuous improvement
Participate in vendor and contractor contract management, from initial financial and qualification assessment to negotiation and eventually contract execution, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Monitor vendor performance, ensuring contractual obligations are met and align with our company’s standards and expectations
Assist in physical office operations and logistics in our Wynwood office and share practices with global offices.
Collaborate with various department heads to ensure seamless integration and execution of operational strategies and processes
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to promote financial efficiency and accountability
Requirements & technical skills
In office responsibilities include presence in Wynwood (Miami) office 50-75% of time
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Demonstrable experience of 2 to 5 years and understanding of HR, IT, Compliance, financial processes, and general business operations..
Excellent problem-solving skills, with an instinct for identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective and streamlined solutions.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proficiency in drafting clear and concise updates.
A proactive mindset, with a keen enthusiasm for learning and personal growth in a fast-paced environment.
