Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst

Reporting to the Managing Director and head of Liquid Credit, the SVP is responsible for credit research, investment recommendations, and monitoring portfolio companies in 2-3 designated industries, including the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities



  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate senior secured loan and high yield bond investment opportunities

  • Perform due diligence on potential investments and assess risk factors

  • Utilize financial models and quantitative techniques to analyze borrower performance

  • Monitor and evaluate market trends and industry developments

  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and their potential impact on investments

  • Prepare comprehensive investment reports and present recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to make informed investment recommendations

  • Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights on market conditions and investment strategies

  • Foster and maintain relationships with sell-side and buy-side participants

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg

  • CFA or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and will not now or in the future require employment-based sponsorship.

  • Must be willing to work from the New York or Chicago office and travel as necessary.

New York City Only: salary ranges are specific to market location; the salary range for this position is USD $200,000 to $260,000 and eligible for annual bonus.
