Reporting to the Managing Director and head of Liquid Credit, the SVP is responsible for credit research, investment recommendations, and monitoring portfolio companies in 2-3 designated industries, including the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate senior secured loan and high yield bond investment opportunities
Perform due diligence on potential investments and assess risk factors
Utilize financial models and quantitative techniques to analyze borrower performance
Monitor and evaluate market trends and industry developments
Stay informed about regulatory changes and their potential impact on investments
Prepare comprehensive investment reports and present recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with portfolio managers to make informed investment recommendations
Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights on market conditions and investment strategies
Foster and maintain relationships with sell-side and buy-side participants
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role
Healthcare industry experience
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Bloomberg
CFA or other relevant certifications are a plus

Must be willing to work from the New York or Chicago office and travel as necessary.
New York City Only: salary ranges are specific to market location; the salary range for this position is USD $200,000 to $260,000 and eligible for annual bonus.
