Analyst to join our team!The HR Analyst is responsible for supporting the HRIS platform, end-user experience, security administration, implementation of process improvements, data integrity, and analyzing and reporting Human Resource (HR) related data. This position serves as an HRIS subject matter expert and creates training material, processes, and guides related to system functionality, as well as responds to HRIS-related employee and manager inquiries.The HR Analyst also designs, develops, and facilitates the distribution of reporting, dashboards, and metrics for workforce data on a weekly, monthly, annual, and ad-hoc cycle.
This includes support for performance management initiatives, responding to HR data requests, and facilitating related audit/compliance requirements. The role requires a balance of strong analysis and problem-solving skills coupled with a high-quality orientation and attention to detail. This position functions in a matrixed-reporting environment and requires effective communication, strong collaboration, and high agility to be effective in meeting goals and objectives in a timely manner.
What you will do for Fay:
- Provide timely and accurate reporting at an enterprise, business unit, and department level
- Create ad-hoc/ customized reports for recurring, standard requirements and to meet ongoing executive/ management needs
- Develop dashboards, calculate and monitor metrics to enable effective workforce management
- Review, analyze, and maintain accurate workforce data; identify and remediate data issues both independently and in partnership with other team members and departments
- Respond to manager/ employee inquiries regarding HRIS data, system functionality, HRIS-related processes, and/or reporting-related needs
- Troubleshoot platform issues with HRIS vendor technical support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS, data, and reporting questions from employees and/or managers
- Support review and transfer of data within and across HR systems, people, and process
- Responsible for HRIS-related projects: system configuration, review and test system upgrades, process automation, maintaining data integrity, security administration, and workflow management
- Develop training to include job aids, user procedures, guidelines, and related process documentation
- Train new system users; educate employees and managers on new processes/ HRIS functionality
- Serve as the performance management administrator, configuring performance reviews, benefit admin, and workforce reporting
- Gather data, artifacts, and requirements for HR-related audits as assigned
- Analyze workflow and process to recommend process improvements, updates to guidelines, and where HRIS structures conflict with policy – to HR leadership
- Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS, workforce reporting, and data management with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support
- Participate in HRIS/HR/Data user group meetings and training as appropriate
- Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of organizational objectives
- Maintain broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the team and organization
- Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices

What you will bring to Fay:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, computer science, or related field (or a combination of lesser education and equivalent work experience)
- 3 years of demonstrated experience in human resources or workforce management
- Previous experience working with HRIS systems/ platforms
- Previous reporting/ data management experience
- Experience across human resource disciplines preferred
- Strong research skills
- Demonstrated experience with UKG suite of products preferred
- Previous customer service experience
- Advanced-level Excel skills (vlookup, macros, queries)
- Strong project management skills
- IBM Cognos Analytics experience a plus
- BI experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail; strong quality and compliance orientation
- Strong analytical skills coupled with sound judgment
