As a Project Manager II, you will be responsible for providing project management, support, and assistance in all aspects of customer projects, sometimes within the framework of larger program efforts for customers. This includes project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication, and cost (overall accountability through to final implementation of technology solutions). Manage on-time and on-budget delivery of new technology solutions. Responsibility for driving to customer budget, financial goals, and business value.
Essential Functions:
• Develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission• Serve as project manager on customer technology projects, both on independent projects and/or as part of larger program efforts• Lead efforts involving work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports within time, budget, and specification constraints• Demonstrate competency in coordinating all aspects of complex projects in a range of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)• Serves as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in alignment• Ensure business value realization and optimization, through delivering new capabilities, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to add value.• Motivate people involved in the project to complete tasks on time• Identify and anticipate risks and issues; facilitate resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation• Develop, communicate, and report on project progress to internal and customer stakeholders• Embrace a team environment to effectively deliver value to our customers• Educate customers and internal resources about project management best practices• Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:• High School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field preferred• Minimum of seven years’ experience of related experience required; ten or more years preferred• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Demonstrate knowledge of project structuring and work planning (using tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)• Demonstrate knowledge/understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, ITIL methodologies• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills• Comfortable working in a matrix environment and foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and customer service skills• Ability to manage numerous complex projects simultaneously• Ability to focus on business value results, rather than solutions• Ability to manage scope change process and issue identification/resolution• Ability to ensure collaboration and coordination between stakeholders
Travel:
