Purpose of the Role


Growing our pipeline of opportunities within European and responsible for:

  • Following up on inbound leads to better understand the customer need for current and future sales opportunities, to develop a strong pipeline of new revenue opportunities.
  • Researching potential customers and pre-qualifying opportunities to add to pipeline. Connecting such opportunities with an appropriate member of the Sales Team, where expertise is needed.
  • A variety of communication methods will be required to be successful, including phone, email, social media and in person when required.

Responsibilities


  • Responding to inbound prospect customer enquiries, with a view to high levels of customer service, that differentiate us from our competition to maximise the opportunity.
  • Research and identify potential customers to develop. Target customer categories and types aligned with our existing customer base. Initiate meaningful conversations with potential customers through proactive outreach or responding to enquiries with the aim of developing new leads and relationships.  Networking to identify decision makers.
  • Maintain the CRM system accurately with the customer pipeline, from leads to closing.
  • Move qualified leads through the pipeline and connect them with the right expert, when needed.
  • Present the Company’s products and capabilities utilising a variety of methods such as phone, email, webinars, conference calls.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers, identifying potential needs and additional opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Team to maximise lead generation and prospect conversion, meeting individual and Company goals.
  • Continually develop and update product and application knowledge.
  • Follow all Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Keep abreast of changes to Company Policies and Procedures, AMOT Terms and Conditions, ensuring that the same are adhered to.
  • Respond to change positively and productively and handle other tasks and projects as may be required.

  • Essential Skills/Behaviours


    • Highly motivated. Self-starter.
    • English speaking, preferably with a second European language skill.
    • Understanding of basic technical concepts to support product selection and customer application.
    • Possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, independent, and determined to grow revenue.
    • Use own initiative, pitch, open doors and gain contacts.
    • Strong resilience, able to take rejection, knock-backs and move on.
    • Friendly personality with good relationship building skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Researching target customers.
    • Use a variety of communication platforms such as email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Teams.
    • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

    Performance Metrics


    • Meet pipeline development and revenue generation metrics.
    • At least meet the minimum required activity levels (i.e., calls, emails, etc.).

    Education and Experience


    • Ideally, a qualification in a technical subject.
    • Ideally, 3 years of sales experience.

    Travel


    Limited travel but may be required on occasion to develop or support the customer.
