What to expect in this role
We are looking for a Techno-Functional Consultant with robust experience in capital markets and technology consulting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in leading digital transformation projects and implementing complex financial solutions. This role demands a unique blend of technical prowess and financial insight, enabling effective communication across IT capabilities and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead digital transformation initiatives, aligning them with strategic business goals in asset financing, securities lending, and wealth management.
Conduct detailed interviews with business stakeholders to understand their core processes and challenges deeply.
Analyze and map business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Design and implement tailored financial solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within client operations.
Collaborate with both IT and business teams to redesign and optimize operational workflows for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Provide strategic advice and technology consulting to optimize client business operations.
Develop and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders, demonstrating solution benefits and project progress.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting capital markets.
Coordinate with internal Capital Markets team to move the practice forward, supporting product development and the sales process as needed
Requirements and Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
2-5 years of relevant experience in capital markets focusing on digital transformation and systems implementation.
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough interviews and effectively map business processes and requirements.
In-depth understanding of financial markets and instruments, with a strong operational and business perspective.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in programming languages and familiarity with software development life cycles.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Prior experience with ERP systems or financial trading platforms is highly desirable.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP, ITIL) are advantageous.
