ACERTUS is growing and looking to add Customer Service reps to our Repossession team.
ACERTUS is the only tech-enabled automotive logistics company to move, store, recondition, title & register finished vehicles. As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a point of contact in maintaining vendor relationships, including assignment follow up, fee authorizations, and invoice approvals, contacting holding facility for impound details, and dispatching to the appropriate repossession agents. The Customer Service Representative will perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and all state and federal regulations.
Schedule
: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $18 - $22/hr. Based on Experience
$200 - $500/month bonus potential.
What you will be doing:
- Organize and work on Excel spreadsheets.
- Regularly input data into internal and 3rd party systems.
- Make and receive phone calls regarding repossession assignments, updates, and documents. Complete subsequent necessary follow up and processing.
- Ensure police notification calls are completed properly and within SLA.
- Filter and distinguish emails regarding repossessions.
- Pull multiple reports and consolidate data for use.
- Regularly update your Clients/Agents directly as needed.
- Process and manage flow of updates, requests, paperwork and communication from clients and vendors.
- Manage on lot process for stored units.
- You must be willing and able to perform all other duties as assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business or related field a plus.
- Proven experience in order entry or a similar administrative role, preferably within the automotive, repossession or collections industry.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Professional attitude and demeanor in all communications on the phone and written communication externally or internally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret state-specific laws on third-party liens for storage and repairs. Knowledge of repossession industry practices and regulations is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work according to deadlines, client, and company expectations in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- PC Skills: Proficiency in using a computer along with order entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable with being on the phone in escalated situations.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
