Job Summary:
Follow processes and procedures, and work within the E2E Logistics Department to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Outbound Logistics department for the delivery of products in a timely manner to satisfy Sales Department and Customer needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow SOP’s and Work Instructions relating to all inventory processes.
- Follow inventory count calendar to perform inventory counts of all the Inventories assigned to them, as Finished Products, Warranty, Consumables and Off-site Inventories.
- Reports inventory counts according to scheduled processes (counts, reports, adjustments).
- Maintain accuracy in all Inventory areas assigned to them by following processes in the company's ERP for picking, packing, shipping, inventory transfer, bin transfer, and any inventory related process.
- Reports and provides justification on discrepancies found after inventory counts.
- Reports and provides follow-up on discrepancies found after inventory counts.
- Process Outbound shipments in the company’s determined ERP either manually or automatically to ensure the correct information is being issued, demonstrating knowledge in the process and use of the provided equipment.
- Provides weekly inventory reports to Sales and Customer Success Teams.
- Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items being processed by the Quality Department.
- Supports Shipping Specialist in preparing and packing products, either proprietary or third-party to ensure transit survivability in domestic and international shipments.
- Maintains accurate filing systems in a readily accessible manner for all documents tonsure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Responsible for keeping inventory areas clean and organized daily.
- Accountable for stocking shipping supplies and notification of any low inventory items.
- Operates dolly, pallet jack, and /or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate company vehicle if needed.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or six to twelve months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work with computer systems.
- Minimum of an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Forklift certification ideal.
- Operate forklift truck to load cargo on to delivery trucks.
- Experience with ERP systems.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse, and computer for up to 4 hours per day.
- Ability to utilize telephone/video conferencing for approximately 4 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to perform simple grasping, including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. periodically throughout the entire workday.
- Continually remain in a stationary position throughout day.
- Continually move about inside and outside the premises.
- Continually work near moving mechanical parts.
