Position: Business Development Representative

Description
The job role of a Business Development Representative consists primarily of new business acquisition. Your role within the sales team will focus on community engagement and creating long-term relationships with business leaders to grow the account base. You will be responsible for client cultivation and establishing rapport, then activating the appropriate Sales Consultant(s) and providing ongoing stewardship. Ability to think critically and adapt on the fly are very important.
Experience & Required Skills
- Develop business opportunities for the sales team while in the community
- Develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
- Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
- Represent the company during community events, business meetings, and miscellaneous networking opportunities

Education & Certification
• High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile.• Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.• Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
Special Requirements
