PotlatchDeltic Land and Lumber is seeking candidates for the Night Shift Planer Mill Supervisor position at their Warren, AR Lumber Mill. Successful candidates will coordinate and direct the activities of the hourly dry end production employees to maximize productivity and minimize costs while maintaining safety and quality. This position is also responsible for ensuring all products meet the highest quality standard before shipment, training and supervising production personnel, and performing other duties as assigned.


The salary range for this position is $62,566.60 - $104,277.67.


This position is bonus eligible, with a target of 10% of salary.


Working Conditions:


  • Office and Sawmill environment
  • Cold, heat, dust, noise, snow and icy conditions
  • Near moving machinery and equipment

Essential Physical Functions:


  • Some mental/physical fatigue from computer terminal use.
  • Climbing of stairs and catwalks at elevated levels.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.

Requirements:


  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, forestry, or a related field is preferred.
  • Five (5) years of industry experience, at least one (1) of which is preferred in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and UltiPro systems preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must have good organizational and computer skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and energetic.
