Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer/Developer to work on-site at the Air Force Research Laboratory on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

- Develop software for autonomy and mission system architectures;
- Develop software for use by the DoD in operational systems;
- Develop formal unit, integration and end-to-end testing to ensure code will operate 100% as expected;
- Support cutting edge UAVs, sensors and flight test activities;
- Write and present technical reports on development activities;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
- BS or MS, with a degree in CS, CSE and 7+ years’ of related experience;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance;
- Strong programming/coding skills in C++, Java, Python, MATLAB, LINUX;
- Experience in large scale software development, embedded hardware, Comm links, Comm modeling, data structures;
- Experience in implementing complex algorithms;
- Experience in autonomy, route planning, flight control, OMS/UCI, AFSIM, PNT, Kalman Filters is a plus;
- Advanced math skills;
- Strong written and oral communication skills; and
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Experience with Qt, Git, Confluence, and Jira
