SUMMARY
With an emphasis on the success of the customer and a positive customer experience, you will be responsible for the on-site implementation of WennSoft products including installation, process review, setup, consulting, and training.Application Consultants manage and troubleshoot existing software applications and programs, finding and implementing solutions to existing and potential problems. Application Consultants create and implement new software programs and applications to meet specific business goals and customer needs. WennSoft’s Application Consultants will work individually or on a team providing subject matter expertise and hands-on configuration during an implementation, upgrade, or optimization project.
You work directly with client staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General
- Contribute to the achievement of the Professional Services Department’s goals
- Establish and follow through with personal development goals to support the success of the company and personal growth
- Complete timely entry of time and expenses in project accounting system
- Seek to improve operational efficiency in the position as opportunities present
- Achieve utilization, revenue goals and profitability as defined in the yearly Professional Services goals.
- Collaborate with team members to problem solve, share knowledge, facilitate effective team interactions, and encourage enthusiasm and innovation
- Develop and maintain detailed functional knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft BC and WennSoft product stack
- Develop an understanding of various technical environments
Job Specific Duties
- Travel to customer sites as needed to deliver professional services
- Lead software implementations for Microsoft Dynamics GP, BC and/or WennSoft products using required implementation methodology
- Analyze customers' business requirements and application objectives
- Provide in-depth application expertise in targeted business areas
- Streamline customer business processes to achieve greater ROI
- Match client business requirements to product capabilities in order to configure and customize to meet customers' needs
- Study manual processes and advise clients on automation of tasks
- Perform application and technical work under the direction of the Project Manager, Lead Consultant and/or Consulting Management
- Establish, coordinate, and maintain data integrity procedures and processes
- Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting data cleanup, as necessary
- Prepare weekly status reports on all project activities
- Ensure timely project conclusion
- Communicate obstacles or elements that may exceed the statement of work
- Serve as an intermediate-level billable consultant and post-sales technical support specialist when needed
- Act as a liaison between customers and the company
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within both customer and partner organizations and WennSoft
- Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Computer Science; or related experience with references required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a customer-facing product support specialist, billable consultant, or trainer required
- Prior Microsoft Dynamics GP Software implementation experience required.
- Prior Microsoft Business Central Software implementation experience required.
- CPA certification preferred
- Prior WennSoft implementation experience preferred
- Field Service Industry knowledge preferred
REQUIRED
TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY
- Microsoft Dynamics GP required
- Microsoft Business Central required
- Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
- PC's and various software language used as required
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL and SSRS preferred
- Management Reporter preferred
- WennSoft Software preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present technical information to a variety of potentially non-technical stakeholders
- Must be able to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and team members

- Must have strong conceptual, analytic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Requires current certification on at least one Key2Act product
