Job Description
The Human Resources team is a critical part of Antares and the VP, HR Business Partner is a key member of the HR Team and will report to the SVP, HR Business Partner. They will provide responsive and proactive support to leadership on a broad array of complex HR issues and partner with senior leaders to develop solutions to address them. The position serves as a strategic advisor, partner, and consultant for leadership to build capabilities, attract, plan, and manage talent, and develop approaches that achieve organizational objectives.
The VP, HRBP will create integrated solutions and serve as a change agent to successfully balance employee needs with business objectives and proactively translate and align people and business strategy
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategy and support to business strategy -- to include employee relations, policy and application, talent management and development, and organizational design consultation.
- Handle a variety of employee relations issues, including conducting internal investigations and partnering with leaders/managers to address performance issues; craft performance improvement plans where needed.
- Collaborate with our COE’s including Total Rewards, Talent & Culture & HR Operations to ensure alignment with program rollouts.
- Work with HR peers to define and drive key strategic initiatives in support of department and enterprise-wide objectives.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and execution for an effective and innovative enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy that focuses on attracting and retaining a diverse pipeline of highly qualified, high-performing candidates needed for Antares to execute its business strategy.
- Build and develop strong relationships with hiring managers across the business; act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on sourcing, assessing, and selecting top talent. Create a dynamic, engaging candidate experience (through onboarding) to ensure Antares is an employer of choice.
- Continuously improve our employer brand and employee value proposition through internal and external channels.
- Ensure that internal mobility processes and opportunities support a development focused, inclusive culture and facilitate career growth across all roles and functions.
- Partner with HR SMEs to define business process workflows and related business requirements to enable and support an integrated talent framework and to fully leverage and optimize Workday’s functionality.
- Adhere to overall TA budget and monitor spending trends and understand variances to ensure we stay within budget for the year; i.e. partner with external search firms, as needed, and negotiate competitive fees and service level agreements.
- Provide guidance and direction related to career pathing and development, and input and feedback into performance calibrations, talent reviews and succession planning.
- Define and communicate our recruiting processes, develop compelling go to market positioning strategies, drive innovative sourcing solutions to increase the representation of diverse talent, and measure and continuously improve our quality of hires and overall cycle time.
- Ability to define, lead, and execute a Talent Acquisition strategy for the partnering functions that will position the organization for its next phase of growth.
- Champion our brand, purpose, and values to enhance our employee value proposition both internally and externally, while ensuring a positive candidate and employee experience.
- Ability to lead and influence in support of the entire HR Team to drive overall operational excellence and effectiveness. Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and direction to shared support resources and the HR team.
- Oversee reporting and analytics and develop a long-term strategy to mature reporting and analytics capabilities to progress from descriptive to predictive analytics to drive a data driven approach to more effective Talent Acquisition strategies.
- Contribute talent acquisition metrics for inclusion in an HR monthly reporting package and leverage data to identify and report on key HR trends to derive meaningful and actionable insights that allow us to monitor and measure our progress over time.
- Partner with HR SMEs to develop and maintain all Talent Acquisition policies; partner with ERM on the development of all TA SOP’s and oversee business process mapping. Partner with HR SMEs to oversee and manage TA content on the HR SharePoint site to ensure all content is well organized, accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Communications or related degree program. MBA preferred.
- 10+ year’s strong HRBP and TA experience and strong track record of performance.
- Comprehensive understanding of and knowledge in all disciplines within the HR function to help build and create a meaningful and compelling employee experience.
- Financial Services industry experience is highly preferred.

- Strong proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, Workday preferred.
