Prevailing Wage Specialist

It’s a nod to the Davis-Bacon act and we are looking for a strong Prevailing Wage Specialist to join our team! Bring your expertise and serve as a resource for the escalation of Certified Payroll issues for internal team members and clients. You will act as a subject matter expert for team members and clients on set up, system functionality, and training as needs arise…from job and determination set-up, fringe and trust questions and production and filing of reports.
What we’re looking for:
- Support client implementation process from post-sale to inception
- Create and manage expectations for all client services using Implementation timeline
- Work closely with operations to ensure client is implemented as sold
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support payroll and ensure client satisfaction
- Provide client with technical training and support of certified processing
- Ensures deliverables are met on a weekly basis according to timeline of expectations
- Resolve client issues and requests from start to finish, strong follow up until resolved
- Responsible for certified client implementation and ongoing support satisfaction
- Provide ongoing certified training to client and operations
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Certified Payroll – State Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon/SCA
- Payroll processing experience
- Demonstrate diligence with follow through on all client requests and issues
- Basic knowledge of employment law
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional ability to act independently and take initiative in problem-solving
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with ability to meet deadlines with frequent interruptions
- Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, Excel,
- SQL, MS Access, and Report Writer experience highly desired
- ASO/PEO or Payroll industry experience a huge plus+
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
