What to expect in this role
We are seeking a Senior Connex Mainframe Engineer with expertise in HPE NonStop to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our organization.
Design, implement, and maintain mainframe systems running on HPE NonStop platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous operation and minimal downtime.
Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to mainframe systems and HPE NonStop platforms.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in mainframe engineering, with expertise in HPE NonStop systems.
Strong knowledge of Connex software and its integration with HPE NonStop platforms.
Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certifications in HPE NonStop systems or related technologies are a plus.
