The Transformation Project Manager has a highly visible, mission-critical role. They are instrumental in the planning, scheduling, and delivery of high value, impactful projects. Individuals in this role must possess both a high level of technical expertise and the capabilities required for all project managers, including consistency, transparency, timely and accurate reporting and excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills.
The Transformation Project Manager is a professional who can anticipate and resolve problems and scheduling conflicts and is a sound communicator who can link engineering teams and business units to ensure quality project delivery. with tight project timelines
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Organize and develop detailed project plans (Set objectives, allocate resources, manage risk)
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget.
- Create presentations to communicate scheduled, weekly updates to stakeholders.
- Track, escalate and resolve issues quickly.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all project resources.
- Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully.
- Keep the project team focused on meeting deadlines and remediate early when they are off track.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors:
- A bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, informational technology, or related fields
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- Experience leading projects in a Managed Service Provider / Telecommunications company preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Comfortable working with individual contributors and senior executives
- Strong competence to motivate and influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive timelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented and highly accurate data entry
Physical Demands:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
