This position will be with Desert Environmental, LLC, an affiliate of WaterBridge Operating, LLC.
Summary of Position:
The 3-phase Centrifuge Operator is responsible for overseeing all R9/3-phase centrifuge services at a fixed R9 facility in accordance with regulations and relevant WaterBridge policies and procedures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The following represents most of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.As a 3-Phase Centrifuge Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Interacting with customers in a courteous and respectful manner to ensure that customer relationships are maintained.
- Troubleshooting equipment, preparing daily reporting, performing on the job maintenance, and ordering equipment and supplies.
- Leading the day-to-day operations of a fixed R9 facility, including processing with 3-phase centrifuges, monitoring tank levels, monitoring receiving capacity in pits, and working with facility operators regarding the types of fluids being brought to the R9 facility.
- Operating petroleum oil 3-Phase Centrifuge.
- Setting appropriate pump speed according to oil thickness.
- Maintaining polymer chemical for separation of waste solids, sediments, and water.
- Collecting oil samples to ensure finished product meets percentage set by the company.
- Dispatching wastewater and finished product to designated holding tanks.
- Gauging holding tank levels before processing.
- Operating forklifts as needed.
- Operating recovery vacuum trucks and transfer oil to designated holding tanks.
- Supervising operators during service delivery.
- Training and/or mentoring of new employees.
- Assisting and/or directing the daily work of other operators.
- Guiding team members and ensuring that they are following proper safety and work procedures.
- Leading a 10-15 minute tailgate meeting with all team members at the beginning of work shifts.
- Attending all required safety meetings and conducting all business activities in accordance with health and safety policies and legal compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience with STF 2-Phase Centrifuge services.
- Have a minimum of 1 year lead or supervisory experience.

Specific vision abilities required by the job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
