We are currently looking for a Consumer Advocate II to join our team!Provides daily processing support, resolves complex loan account issues, manages incoming mail, emails, and voice mail messages, drafts and mail written correspondence to borrowers
What you will do for Fay:
- Draft and mail borrower correspondence
- Conduct necessary research for incoming inquiries and provide responses
- Prepare files for vendor to create government or state supported correspondence (FHA, SCRA, HAMP)
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly pipeline to coordinate with the vendor on Billing statements and other correspondence
- Analyze/perform research to identify gaps, issues, and process improvement recommendations
- Monitor and complete credit bureau reporting to ensure compliance with Metro 2 file formats
- Review and analyze Credit Reporting disputes and make corrections as needed
- Review and research QA findings
- Prepare and send payoff quotes
- Manage incoming faxes, emails, written correspondence, and voice mails
- Processing of assigned tasks within the servicing platform
- Perform job functions in accordance with specific SLAs and department metrics
- Assist in training new members of the team
- Aid to AVP in updating job aids and projects
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring to Fay:
- High School diploma/GED required
- 2+ years of mortgage servicing experience desired, previous QA experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of MSP and E-Oscar credit reporting functionality
- Knowledge of mortgage documents
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Proficient in MS office and Adobe
- High attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
