Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experienced with Maintenance Manuals, illustrated parts Catalog, Blueprints, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins, routine and non-routines and other related maintenance documents.
- Experience with wet layups.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
- Desire to work in a small firm environment, which requires a broad range of skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate safely all ground support equipment, (i.e., Main Lifts, Scissor Lifts, etc.) and possess the Company operating certification.
- Perform hot bond repairs with Heatcon Hot Bonders.
- Perform metal prep and metal bonds on wing with hot bonders.
- Perform composite material hot bonds with hot bonders.
- Proficiency with reading and understanding manual references for assigned jobs.
Abilities and Skills:
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Must be able to multi-task.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as walk extended distances.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and/service stands.
- Must have normal corrected hearing and vision.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
