The Role:This position within Trax Technologies works within the Logistics Data, Duplicate, Rating, Audit area to ensure that the business logic for our customers contracts is developed, analyzed and implemented correctly.The Responsibilities:
- Analyze contracts and transactions between customer and carriers and identify their business requirements and develop logic to identify gaps.
- Develop and implement rating rules.
- Logical rules tracing and troubleshooting.
- Identifying data inconsistencies and source issues
- Updating and maintaining configuration data used by production logic.
- Assist analysts on correctly identifying true technical issues and provide resolution and maintain audit policies
- Working with data analysts to understand symptoms and magnitude of fallout due to technical issues
- Collaborate with team on direction of rules development and overall methodology for logic improvements within production
The Qualifications:
- College graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or other related fields
- Working knowledge in Visual Basic, C# and SQL
- Preferably with programming background
- Advanced excel
- Experience with Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus
- Willing to be assigned on different shift to attend meetings as needed especially night shift
- Highly analytical. Should be able to use systematic approach in solving problems
- Fast learner and able to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication skills, must be able to articulate on the issue at hand back to the customer (internal/external)
- Able to follow process standardization and find opportunities for streamlining
