Summary of Position Responsibilities:
KAEKO is seeking a CAD Drafter III for our Survey Department. The CAD Drafter III is responsible for independently coordinating and handling various types of CAD projects, deliverables, and tasks. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating and maintaining digital models.
- Obtaining and validating project data.
- Executing drawing packages.
- Adhering to proper graphic standards, procedures, and building codes.
- Coordinating and delivering contracted project packages.
- Collaborating closely with counterparts across all design disciplines.
- Ensuring our CAD implementation stays in alignment with the project CAD execution plan.
- Keeping management and Design Leads up to date and informed project statuses and milestone dates.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Civil 3D, Carlson, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
- Easily adaptable to learning and using new software and technology.
- Ability to read, interpret and prepare property legal descriptions, easements and right-of-ways.
- Can perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
- Ability to perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks including subdivision calculations, topographic surveys, ALTAs, boundary surveys, plats, construction calculations, and as-built surveys.
- Ability to take direction.
- Possesses proficient writing and organizational skills.
- Character traits include a strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
- Team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Understanding the importance of excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and clearly communicate information within construction documents and general construction processes.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
