Job Summary
A Ride Attendant constantly interacts with guests and their number one responsibility is the safety of the riders. Ride Attendants must have the well-being of guests in mind at all times. Ride Attendants must be able to interact with children and adults on a continuous basis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate number of people are selected for the ride or attraction
- Ensure children are the appropriate height and age for rides
- Ensure passengers are securely fastened
- Assist passengers who might need help boarding
- Explain safety procedures to riders
- Operate equipment that starts and shuts down ride
- Inspect equipment for anything that could be a safety concern
- Clean up debris around ride
- Enforce all safety regulations and stay current with safety rules and procedures
