Position Overview:
As the Talent Development Director, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive talent development programs aimed at enhancing the leadership capabilities and professional growth of our employees. Leveraging your expertise in talent and leadership development, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and HR to identify key development areas and implement strategies to support our organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Development Program Design: Develop and oversee the design of customized leadership development programs tailored to the specific needs and objectives of various employee groups within the organization.Curriculum Development: Create engaging and impactful curriculum content, including workshops, seminars, e-learning modules, and other resources, to support leadership development initiatives.Program Delivery: Facilitate and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, and training sessions, both in-person and virtually, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for participants.Performance Evaluation: Establish metrics and methodologies to assess the effectiveness and impact of talent development programs, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve program content and delivery.Coaching and Mentorship: Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to emerging leaders and high-potential employees, offering guidance and support to help them achieve their professional development goals.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Learning & Development, and departmental leaders, to align talent development initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.Industry Research: Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in talent development, leadership training, and organizational development, and incorporate relevant insights into program design and delivery.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (8 years) in talent development, leadership development, or organizational development roles, with a focus on designing and delivering leadership development programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training delivery platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) or similar are a plus.
