We are seeking a seasoned Revenue Analytics Lead with specialized experience in private-equity backed SaaS software.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, extensive knowledge of revenue analysis in the SaaS industry, an understanding of private equity dynamics, and a demonstrated history of translating business logic across finance and business intelligence teams. This role requires expertise in leveraging business intelligence tools to extract actionable insights, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
SaaS Revenue Analysis:
•Conduct in-depth analysis of SaaS revenue streams, including subscription models, churn rates, customer lifetime value, unit economics, etc. • Collaborate with CFO, product and sales teams to optimize pricing strategies and packaging based on market trends and competitive landscape. • Develop and maintain metrics for assessing SaaS product performance and customer acquisition.
Revenue Insight Development:
• Work closely with FP&A team and CFO to provide insights to various stakeholders to analyze financial performance.• Provide insights into revenue growth opportunities and risk mitigation strategies across various product lines.• Assist in due diligence processes, assessing revenue-related aspects of potential acquisitions or investments.
Business Intelligence:
• Create and manage business intelligence dashboards tailored to the unique needs of various executive and functional stakeholders.• Implement advanced analytics to support decision-making processes within the context of SaaS revenue models.• Stay updated on industry-specific trends in the education market and SaaS software in general, incorporating relevant insights into analyses.
Data Management:
• Employ ELT / ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources, ensuring data accuracy for nuanced analyses. • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, supporting the integration varied datasets.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
•Monitor the revenue performance, offering timely reports and actionable insights.•Collaborate with FP&A team leadership to effectively communicate revenue performance for cross training and distilling of key messages into consolidated reporting and performance monitoring.•Present findings to senior Finance management and functional leaders in partnership with FP&A leaders, facilitating informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
