And we are just getting started.  Come build a healthier future with us.The Senior Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. In this pivotal position you'll be involved in all aspects of the company’s bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for numbers, extensive experience in bookkeeping, strong attention to detail and the agility to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

What You'll Do:


  • Preparing and recording designated journal entries
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Reviewing and maintaining daily cash balances
  • Reviewing credit card accounts and processing transactions
  • Reconciling monthly asset and liability accounts
  • Analyzing expenses to ensure accurate account and department allocation
  • Preparing monthly sales commission reports
  • Supporting day-to-day accounting operations as needed
  • Designing reports in NetSuite
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Providing documentation for audit support
  • Covering responsibilities for team members on leave
  • Documenting processes for training purposes
  • Performing other duties as required

What You'll Bring to the Role:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Netsuite preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Bonus if you also have the following:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in the healthcare or digital health industry.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting requirements for a large organization.
