Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer - DevOps to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and automation. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our DevOps processes to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.• Monitor and maintain system performance, reliability, and security.• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and updates.• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.• Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.• Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers.• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or related roles.• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
