StrataTech Education Group focuses on the acquisition, growth and development of specialized career education schools, particularly skilled-trade programs designed to address the nation’s growing infrastructure needs.The company’s Tulsa Welding School subsidiary was founded in 1949 with campuses in Tulsa, Okla., Jacksonville, Fla., Houston, and Dallas (Irving) Texas. Tulsa Welding School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and is a member of the American Welding Society and the Association of Private Schools, Colleges, and Universities.
TWS-Jacksonville is a branch campus of Tulsa Welding School, located at 2545 E. 11th St., Tulsa, OK 74104. Licensed by OBPVS and ASBPCE. Licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education, License No. 2331. Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center (TWSTC), a branch campus of Tulsa Welding School, opened and started training students in 2014. TWSTC is located at 243A Greens Road in Houston, Texas.The Refrigeration School, Inc (RSI) was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 1965. RSI trains students in the technical services that are needed today and challenges the student to reach their highest level of academic knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as informational resource to current and potential students regarding policies and procedures involved in applying for scholarships/awards; provide counseling regarding the tuition planning application processes and the requirements necessary to maintain financial assistance
- Develop and update departmental procedures and recommend necessary changes to related STEG practices
- Monitor scholarship programs to propose changes to and/or implementation of scholarship policies and procedures; participate and assist in developing and monitoring scholarship budgets; including awarding and reconciling of student accounts
- In collaboration with Marketing, develops and maintains the scholarships web page for students resources
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships by initiating and responding to individual donors, corporations and businesses, community organizations and private foundations offering outside scholarship opportunities
- Reviews financial aid applications and forms, with the applicant and/or family(virtually), for completeness and accuracy
- Interprets, applies and complies with federal, state and institutional regulations governing federal student aid
- Maintains a current working knowledge of guidelines/regulations related to state, agency, institutional and federal funding
- Maintains a close working relationship with Student Financial Services, Admissions, as well as all other institutional departments
- Participates in all Student Financial Services meetings, trainings and events as assigned
- Provides exemplary customer service by responding to all prospective student inquiries in a timely manner
Required Knowledge, Education and Experience:
- Good listening, and communication skills.
- Pleasant and clear phone communication.
- Customer service experience.
- Financial Aid experience preferred.
- Good time management and organization skills.
- Knowledge of PC based word processing and spreadsheet programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- When working remote, a dedicated, private environment with high -speed internet connectivity is required.
