The RoleAs a Solutions Architect at Versaterm Public Safety, you will be at the forefront of designing innovative solutions that enhance the effectiveness of public safety agencies.
You will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs, developing technical specifications, and creating architecture blueprints that align with our business goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture patterns, cloud computing technologies, and a commitment to developing secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of solutions for Versaterm Public Safety products
- Analyze customer requirements and provide technical recommendations for optimal solutions
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to understand product requirements and define technical specifications
- Design, implement, and maintain architecture blueprints that align with business goals and objectives
- Create and document architecture patterns and best practices
- Develop technical proposals and white papers for customers
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and meet the highest quality standards
- Perform technical evaluations of third-party solutions and provide recommendations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Criminal Justice, or related field, or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Solutions Architect in a software development organization
- 10+ Years of experience in Law Enforcement
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Expertise in software architecture patterns and best practices, such as microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and DevOps
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance requirements for software solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Public safety domain knowledge is a plus.
