Production Technician
Department:
Supply Chain/Warehouse
Reports to:
Production Manager
Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Vet/Dental Inventory Technology hardware & software systems assembly/set up/disassembly
- Software data sync: Windows upgrades, LogMeIn installation, Etc.
- Vet/Dental Inventory Cabinet/Equipment refurbishment, cleaning, and repair
- Logistics auditing; preparing system orders for freight shipment, receiving and inspecting inbound shipments
- Managing vendor product returns
- Maintaining accurate digital and physical records
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment.
- Participate in organization and audit of warehouse inventory and efficiency
- Comply with all laws, OSHA, Insurance, HR, and Safety
Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced, production/warehouse environment
- Windows knowledge, preferred
- Proficient in standard ERP software (Netsuite, Salesforce, other)
- Forklift certification, preferred
- Self-starter, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to thrive in an agile and fast-paced work environment.
- Basic technical skills and enjoy working with your hands.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Other Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours
- Ability to operate hand tools and small components
- Ability to work in high-volume areas
