Bluum.This position is responsible for overseeing the installation of audio/visual systems integration projects. This will involve installing, troubleshooting, training, working with customers, and working with internal staff. The Lead AV position based in Phoenix is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities


  • Install audio visual equipment on customer site(s) in accordance with the proposal specifications and design
  • Review project scopes, equipment lists, and line drawing
  • Function as a mentor, trainer, and technical resource to Installers 
  • Serve as the main contact for customers and Project Managers while on site
  • Stage equipment for upcoming project(s) and verify accuracy
  • Load/unload equipment for installations
  • Perform testing on completed install equipment
  • Provide basic system training for customers
  • Mark up and deliver as built drawings
  • Communicate installation status to the Project Manager and Installation Supervisor 
  • Clean up work areas at customer site(s), secure tools, and communicate progress at the end of each day
  • Responsible for completion of end of project updates and closeout documentation
  • Supervise installers on projects assigned to the Lead installer, including project tasks, training on new products to the installers, and managing productivity of installers
  • Effectively communicate processes and policies
  • Ensure, through effective communication, all reports consistently demonstrate an excellent level of customer care and product knowledge
  • Mentor and train new and current employees in areas of technology, processes and company policies

Education & Skill Requirements 


  • Two-year certification in electronics or closely related field preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience installing A/V equipment and terminating cables required
  • Minnesota Power Limited Technician Certificate (PLT) preferred, as well as a valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Regional travel is required of this position
