Job Description
As an Integration Engineer at Cubex®, a leading innovator in healthcare product and service solutions, you will be pivotal in orchestrating and executing the integration of cutting-edge technologies to streamline and refine the workflow of the Animal Health and Dental marketplace. This role requires a blend of technical prowess and strategic coordination, ensuring that all integration projects align with our operational goals and compliance standards. The Integration Engineer at Cubex® is more than a technical role—it is a position at the heart of our mission to innovate and improve healthcare inventory management globally, requiring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative energy.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
- Technical Documentation Leadership: Lead the drafting and refinement of technical specifications that map out the functionality, architecture, and integration points of new technologies. This includes the creation of detailed documents that serve as the blueprint for project execution.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Actively coordinate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure that the technical specifications meet operational needs and strategic objectives. This involves consulting stakeholders during the initial discovery sessions and incorporating their feedback to optimize project outcomes.
- Scoping and Scheduling: Schedule and lead scoping calls with the development team to clarify any uncertainties in the documentation and discuss realistic timelines and resource allocations. This ensures that the project schedule is feasible and aligns with team capacities and project complexity.
- Requirements Engineering: Post-discovery sessions, identify and document the hard requirements for the integration projects, including system requirements, performance criteria, security protocols, and compliance obligations. Review these requirements with the development team and other technical stakeholders for validation and refinement to guarantee that they comprehensively cover all necessary aspects for seamless integration and functionality.
- Documentation Review and Approval: Continuously review and revise project specifications based on ongoing feedback from stakeholders. Finalize these documents by ensuring they are accurate and complete before proceeding to the development phase.
- Collaborative Project Management: Work in tandem with product managers, developers, and other engineers, ensuring projects remain on track and align with strategic goals. Effective collaboration with third-party vendors is also crucial to expand our capabilities and integrate external innovations.
Skills and Attributes:
- Proven experience in system integration, software development, or a similar role.
- Expert knowledge on JSON, HL7, FHIR, Webservices
- Experience in writing detailed requirements for external and internal development teams.
- Strategic Planning: Expertise in developing project scopes, setting timelines, and determining resource allocations to efficiently achieve project objectives.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication to meet project deadlines.
- Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Experience with wireframes and data flow diagrams using tools such as Visio.
- Experience with DevOps or similar development systems.
- Ability to work independently and within teams, proactively with general direction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
- Advanced MS-SQL knowledge and relational Databases
- Expect dynamic Project demands that require flexibility and the ability to adapt to evolving technology and project scopes.

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Position Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in the Supply Chain Management
- Nice to Have-Experience in the Animal Health and or Dental Markets
- Less than 25% Travel

Compensation
- $85,000 - $95,000 annually; commensurate with experience
- Internet and Cell Phone stipend
- Home office technologies provided by company (laptop, monitors, webcam, etc.)
