Come build a healthier future with us.As a Technical Lead in our Platform Engineering division you'll lead a small team of engineers focused on evolving our core Ruby on Rails application, React front-ends. They spend their days evolving our architecture and building tools to help our teams to produce high quality features. We’re looking for someone who is excited about growing a team of highly capable individuals and can work right alongside them to build solutions.
You’ll lead and empower your team, plan projects, write code, and make decisions that shape the technical landscape of our core platform.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of front and back end software engineers
- Plan, design, and deliver projects; actively participating in discussions and decisions.
- Contribute code and grow your technical skills.
- Maintain the technical health of our systems.
- Participate in architectural decision-making and implementation.
- Build speedy code delivery pipelines from MacBook to production that are both developer friendly and encourage best practices around testing, security, data migrations, and issue ownership.
What you bring to the table
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading a team of engineers.
- Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with Javascript and modern JS libraries like React
- Understanding of CSS frameworks and preprocessors
