Job Responsibilities:
The Learning and Development Manager, Senior, plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of employees at ViaPlus. They are responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce. This position has a global scope, with learning and development responsibilities for employees in the United States, Ireland, and India.
- Develop and implement learning and development strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Identify training needs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborate with HR Director on Workforce Analytics to determine workforce-skill alignment.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and presentations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Manage the learning management system (LMS) and other training platforms.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to support their professional development.
- Collaborate with external vendors and training partners as needed.
- Track and report on training metrics, including participation rates, feedback, and outcomes.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and innovative learning solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in learning and development or related fields.
- Strong understanding of learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Experience designing and delivering training programs across various formats and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and other training tools.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
