The HR Coordinator will support the MA HR team with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Off-boarding, Compensation, Leave Administration, HR File Maintenance, Metrics, and Compliance. This position suits a self-starter with initiative, curiosity, and a desire to learn and advance their career in human resources.

Will require travel to our sites in Georgetown, Worcester, Holliston, and Brookline. Reliable personal transportation is required.
Onsite 3 Days Per Week
Position Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 8:30AM EST- 5:00PM EST; Flex Schedule as Needed
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Support all aspects of the hiring process, including pre-employment background checks, state licensing, and onboarding/orientation.
- Conduct employee orientation to assist new hires in understanding the organization’s mission, structure, culture, benefits, policies, and expectations.
- Field questions from managers and employees on HR related questions with a willingness to research correct answers if needed.
- Respond to email and Teams messages in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
- Produce reports and update data using 4Front’s HR Information System platform.
- Track and process changes to employee records such as increases, promotions, onboarding and termination.
- Maintain employee personnel files and records.
- Provide front line support for employee requests, questions, and concerns.
- Support site with office and administrative functions to include mail collection/distribution, supply orders, make photocopies, scan, and vendor management.
- Assist with special projects and assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age.
- BA degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience working in Human Resources preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and be able to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
- Experienced with MS Office with strong emphasis in Excel
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems
- Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Must be flexible, well-organized, and able to manage different projects concurrently and often under pressure; able to set priorities and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle difficult/urgent situations and conversations, working well under pressure while maintaining professional rapport and confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws governing employment including affirmative action, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Wage and Hour laws, FMLA, etc. preferred.
- Detail oriented with an eye on process optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
- Work involves physical exertion such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, pivoting, and carrying items/ product on a regular basis. Employees will be required to stand for extended periods and may need to climb ladders or operate equipment. The warehouse environment may be subject to hot and cold temperatures, and ventilation may not be available in all areas. The warehouse environment may be subject to elevated noise volumes due to equipment, machinery, and the movement of goods.The warehouse may be subject to dirt, dust, cleaning solutions, chemicals, and debris from the handling of goods. The warehouse may have safety hazards such as slippery floors, moving equipment, and the presence of hazardous materials. You will need to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
